Hello, my name is Lane Oisettes, I’m a 66 year old Palm Springs/Austin based artist who creates large-format digital giclée works on canvas.  My compositions present a mythic, character-driven world where all living things are interconnected and affection is expressed through consent-sensuality alongside friendship, empathy, passion, and kindness.

While my work celebrates love, sexuality, lust, happiness, and contentment, the figures’ closeness and physical linkages also suggest the everyday tensions people carry. My inspiration comes from a life shaped by profound friendships and relationships- and by the losses that have accompanied them within my lived experience as a gay man. My images invite viewers into a space of tenderness and recognition, aiming to evoke affection, warmth, and a sense of shared belonging.
